Researchers identify some biophysical impacts, such as â€Å"increased coastal erosion, more extensive coastal inundation, higher storm surge flooding, and landward intrusion of seawater in estuaries and aquifers† (Cho, 2008, p. 28). Sea level rise a ffects the deltas of the rivers Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna. As a result, the key sectors of the economy are at high risk. In other words, the biophysical impacts identified by researchers lead to a wide range of socio-economic impacts. The major socioeconomic impacts include â€Å"increased loss of property and coastal habitats, increased flood risk and potential loss of life, damage to coastal protection and other infrastructure, loss of tourism and transportation functions† (Cho, 2008, p. 29). Besides, sea level rise has a negative impact on agricultural system of the region and aquaculture through considerable quality degradation of water and soil (Cho, 2008),   Researchers argue that mangrove forests play an important role in coastal environment of the region, providing the highest biological productivity. However, sea level rise in the coastal zone of Bangladesh (the area of Sundarbans) may lead to the depletion of mangrove forests. According to Kwangwoo Cho (2008) , â€Å"sea level rise will change the salinity distribution in the coastal zone and hence the productivity of mangrove forests in the region† (p. 29). Today beach erosion can be found along the coastal line of Bangladesh (Cahoon, 2009; Cho, 2008).  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Taking into consideration the above mentioned impacts of sea level rise, it is necessary to assess the impact of climate change-induced sea level rise on the poor and vulnerable in Bangladesh (Cahoon, 2009). The statistical data show that the potential land loss due to sea level rise of 100 cm in Bangladesh coastal zone will be 29, 846 km (20. 7%). The population exposed to sea level rise under the absence of adaptability to this crisis will be 14.8 million people (13.5%) (Cho, 2008).  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   The poor and vulnerable in the coastal zone of Bangladesh may face serious problems caused by sea level rise. One potential problem is the increase in the salinity of coastal area, which could have a potential impact on drinking water and the organisms of aquatic ecosystem (Bhuiyan Dutta, 2011). Another serious problem is the extreme vulnerability of coastal zone of Bangladesh to cyclones and storm surges due caused by climate change induced sea level rise (Cahoon, 2009). Researchers state that â€Å"the Bangladesh coastal zone could be termed a geographical death trap due to its extreme vulnerability to cyclones and storm surges† (Kay Alder, 2005, p. 50). In Bangladesh, a large number of coastal people live in poverty (Dasgupta et al. 2009). They have poorly constructed houses, which are can be easily ruined by cyclones and storm surges. The lack of high quality cyclone shelters, the improper cyclone forecasting and warning systems, as well as the tremendously low lying land of the coastal area lead to the massive loss of human lives from cyclones (Cahoon, 2009; Kay Alder, 2005).  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   In addit ion, poor coastal communities in Bangladesh depend on various forms of coastal aquaculture system to support their families. These forms include crab fishing, shrimp fisheries, and seaweeds culture (Kay Alder, 2005). According to statistical data, â€Å"in Bangladesh, 20 million rural farm households, 40% of whom live below the poverty line of US $1.25 per day, depend on the aquatic agricultural systems† (Resilient livelihoods and food security in coastal aquatic agricultural systems, 2012, p. 2). Sea level rise has negative impact on coastal aquaculture system, making people suffer from the lack of resources to support their livelihoods (FitzGerald et al., 2008). In other words, the poor people living in the coastal zone of Bangladesh will lack the benefits flows from a wide range of coastal resources due to sea level rise (Bhuiyan Dutta, 2011; Cahoon, 2009).  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Besides, livelihoods of the poor communities in the forest zones of Ban gladesh, who are dependent on forest resources, will face considerable challenges caused by sea level rise. According to researchers, â€Å"salinity intrusion severely affects forest resources, especially in the coastal region, with moderate impacts on poverty and economic growth†(Thomas et al., 2013, p. 5). In general, there is a close relationship between the effects of climate change, poverty rate and economic growth of the country. It has been found that climate change induced sea level rise creates considerable challenges for the sustainable development of Bangladesh (Thomas et al., 2013; Bhuiyan Dutta, 2011).   The poverty rate identified in the coastal communities of Bangladesh will be increased by the negative effects of sea level rise, including the reduction in agricultural production, reduction in forest resources and aquaculture resources (Thomas et al., 2013).Conclusion  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Thus, it is necessary to conclude that climate change induced sea level rise is a serious environmental problem in Bangladesh. The impacts of sea level rise are different in different areas because of the existing differences in coastal environment. In Bangladesh, the coastal system lacks the required adaptability of both natural system and socioeconomic system. Sea level rise has negative impacts on the low lying areas of Bangladesh, including such impacts as inundation, considerable salt water intrusion, severe coastal erosion, increased ground subsidence and other ones. The vulnerability of Bangladesh to sea level rise in higher than in other Asian countries because of its geographic location and weather conditions.   The impact of sea level rise due to climate change on the poor in Bangladesh leads to reduced employment opportunities, low income and economic challenges. Sea level rise in coastal zone of Bangladesh leads not only to the growth of poverty rate, but also to serious economic and social challenges associated wi th increased drought, increased level of salinity intrusion, flooding and other negative effects. The poor people suffer more than others because they have no opportunity to respond to this crisis effectively.

Llamar Conjugation in Spanish, Translation and Examples The Spanish verb  llamar  means to call. It is a regular -ar verb, like buscar or parar. Below you can find tables for the conjugation of  llamar in the present, past and future indicative, the present and past subjunctive, as well as the imperative and other verb forms. Llamar Meaning The simple translation of llamar is to call, but depending on its usage, the meaning can vary slightly. Howarth (2006) discusses Moscovici (1972) to answer what is the aim of social research and the social representation perspective and whether these theories support or criticize social order and how social theories consolidate or transform social order. Many people can consider me many things. Today I’ll tell you about my daughter, Vanessa, my family, and some of my hobbies. Now let me tell you about my daughter. My daughter Vanessa Rose was born on May 13, 2005, she weighed 7 pounds, she was 20 inches long, and born at 6:15 in the morning. She is now 2 Â ½ years old. I got her first name Vanessa from the little mermaid from the evil girl that took Ariel’s voice away from her and tried to steal her prince. I got her middle name Rose from the flower. It’s my favorite flower and it fit with her first name. Vanessa and I have a really close bond. We enjoy playing on her little computer, playing blocks, teaching her colors, teaching her the alphabet, and her numbers and shapes. She’s very active and loves to help clean, read books, color, and dance. There’s never a day that she sits still. My plans for Vanessa are simple, I want her to make the best out of her life, make mistakes in order to learn from them, go to school , graduate, get a career, get married, have kids, and die of a natural cause at a very old age. Now here’s a little bit about my family. I live with my mom, my stepdad, my little sister, and Vanessa. My mom, Kim, and I have a strained relationship, even though I’m her daughter, it’s very hard for her to understand that I am a mother and need to do things on my own without her help. But she’s still my mom and even though I don’t show that I appreciate her as much as she wishes I would, I do appreciate her for everything she’s done for me. My stepdad, Jim, and I have an odd relationship; even though he and my mom aren’t married he’s like another dad to me. Although my dad is still in the picture he’s not there for me as much as Jim is for me. I appreciate him a lot and thank him for being there for me. My little sister, Gabi, and I have a strong relationship. I’m always looking out for her and she always looks out for me. I trust I can tell her a secret and she won’t tell anyone else. She also can tell me secrets and she knows I won’t tell anyone either. She looks up to me as a role model and she always wants to be included. Even though she may bug me at times, I still love her to death and would go to the ends of the world and back. Now I’m going to tell you about some of my hobbies and what I like to do. A couple things I like to do are watch TV and movies, play on the computer, spend time with my daughter, spend time with my boyfriend, listen to music, text on my phone, and sleep. I like to watch TV and movies with my family and my boyfriend. On the computer I go on Facebook and MySpace everyday. I listen to all different types of music. What I listen to depends on the mood that I’m in. My favorite TV show is Family Guy because they’re really funny and my favorite characters are Stewie and Brian. My favorite movie is The Titanic because it’s really sad but romantic at the same time. It also shows that the worst of times can be changed into the best times of your life. Medieval Art As far as I have seen through my research of medieval art, it is the art of the glorious days of kingdoms, knights, huge cathederals and wars. Historicians can not give dates for the medieval period but I understood that it is before renaissance at around 16th century, around 14th and 15th centuries but not before the 10th. Same as other art movements it is inevitably result of the events, beliefs and daily life of the period’s nations. Religion was obviously very important at that time. Many paintings are about Jesus, saints and angels. Frescos and carvings on chappels’ and cathederals’ walls and ceilings are still astonishingly detailed and realistic even for the viewer of our time. Architecture in the medieval is exaggurated. Because it is based on expressing the glory of god and the kings, huge buildings, castles and cathederals are ornamented with big arcs, frescos and carvings (Notre Damme in Paris is a good example). Animals such as lions and imaginary beasts like dragons and gargoyles were obviously popular among those times’ architects and artists. I think the key word for the period is â€Å"gothic† and it is based on ornamentation. I know that medieval art is effected by oriental and islamic art and the usage of ornamentation, dragons, miniature-like paintings are proofs for this. Scripts seem to be popular at medieval ages which I came up with several times in my research. They gave lots of information about the ages because they consisted of gothic lettered writings, ornamentations on the edges of papers, small paintings (generally religious and miniature like) and huge, decorated initials. One thing I noticed in most, maybe all, of the paintings is the lack of motion. A position of a figure or a situation was prefered. They are similar in that both brands consider themselves to be bold and refreshing. c.Whether any of these points of difference are competitive advantages – Coke’s positioning, with its strong association to feelings of joy and happiness, I believe gives it a competitive advantage in that these feelings and positive connections with happiness give it timeless appeal, whereas Pepsi seems to be more in-the-moment and almost â€Å"timely† by comparison. Coke, I feel, represents a state of permanent happiness whereas Pepsi is all about excitement, which we all know, is an emotion that is often fleeting. This position of happiness/longevity, I believe, is more attractive to consumers. . Line extension strategy Having a strong brand that consumers are loyal to allows an organization to extend its line of products and bring to market new products more easily.If Coke’s brand is stronger and bette r positioned (which I believe it is), then by extension, it will be of greater value since the introduction of new products can more easily be made, and therefore, new revenue streams open up for the company. There are, of course, risks associated with line extension, however if managed well, leveraging an existing brand can be of enormous financial benefit to a company. . International presence – I think Coke’s broader appeal to such human states as joy and happiness allows the brand to resonate more strongly across cultures whereas Pepsi, with its greater reliance on pop-culture and entertainment artists makes it more restricted in its global reach. Clearly, Michael Jackson will have less appeal in a developing country than in the United States, however Coke’s association with feelings of joy, family and life more generally can, as a message, be more easily carried across borders and into countries.
